Dr Mohamed Elnaggar is a General Practitioner with a specialist interest in diabetes and cardiometabolic medicine. He has extensive experience in the management of complex diabetes within primary care and PCN settings, with a particular focus on improving outcomes through evidence-based treatment optimisation and structured clinical reviews. Dr Elnaggar is actively involved in education and training for healthcare professionals, supporting clinicians across primary care to implement current NICE guidance and modern diabetes therapies safely and effectively. His teaching focuses on translating clinical guidelines into practical approaches that can be applied within time-limited consultations in everyday practice. He regularly delivers educational sessions on diabetes management, cardiovascular risk reduction, and treatment pathway optimisation, helping clinicians improve confidence in managing patients with type 2 diabetes in both community and primary care settings.
