1. Scope and Application

This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all products and services provided by CliniLink Academy, including but not limited to:

  • Online courses

  • Recorded lectures and video content

  • Digital learning materials

  • Downloadable or streamed educational resources

  • Subscriptions and on-demand educational access

This policy applies to all purchasers, whether acting in a professional or personal capacity.

2. Nature of Digital Content

All products sold by CliniLink Academy are digital educational products.

Access to digital content is provided immediately upon successful payment, either via direct streaming, online access, or account-based delivery.

Due to the nature of digital content:

  • Content cannot be returned

  • Content cannot be “unviewed”

  • Access cannot be reversed once granted

3. No Refunds Once Access Is Granted

Once access to digital content has been granted, the purchase is final and non-refundable.

No refunds will be issued under any circumstances, including (without limitation):

  • Change of mind

  • Partial or non-completion of a course

  • Dissatisfaction with content

  • Lack of time or availability

  • Failure to meet personal or professional expectations

  • Disagreement with educational opinions or interpretations

  • Regulatory, employer, or local policy differences

Access to digital content constitutes full performance of the contract.

4. Waiver of Statutory Right to Cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, consumers may normally have a 14-day cooling-off period.

By completing a purchase on CliniLink Academy, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are purchasing digital content

  • Access to the content is provided immediately upon payment

  • You expressly consent to immediate access

  • You expressly waive your statutory right to cancel once access is granted

Accordingly, no cancellation or refund rights apply after access has been provided.

5. Screenshots, Recording, and Unauthorised Use

Unauthorised actions including, but not limited to:

  • Taking screenshots

  • Screen recording

  • Downloading or copying content

  • Sharing login credentials

  • Redistributing materials

constitute a breach of contract and an infringement of intellectual property rights.

Such actions:

  • Do not give rise to any entitlement to a refund

  • Do not invalidate the no-refund policy

  • May result in immediate termination of access without refund

  • May result in legal action

Refunds will never be issued on the basis that content has been copied, recorded, or misused.

6. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Users are encouraged to contact CliniLink Academy directly before initiating any payment dispute or chargeback.

Unauthorised chargebacks or payment reversals may result in:

  • Immediate suspension or termination of access

  • Recovery of administrative, legal, and transaction costs

  • Permanent restriction from future purchases

7. Technical Issues

In the event of genuine technical access issues:

  • Users must contact CliniLink Academy promptly

  • Reasonable efforts will be made to restore access

Technical issues that are resolved do not entitle the user to a refund.

8. Exceptional Circumstances

Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances, at the sole and absolute discretion of CliniLink Academy, such as:

  • Duplicate purchases made in error

  • Proven technical failure that cannot be reasonably resolved

Any consideration of a refund:

  • Does not create a precedent

  • Does not imply entitlement in future cases

All requests must be submitted in writing within 7 days of purchase.

9. Professional and Regulatory Context

CliniLink Academy provides education for healthcare professionals.

Refunds will not be issued on the basis of:

  • Professional disagreement

  • Regulatory interpretation

  • Local guideline or formulary variation

  • Employer or commissioning requirements

Educational content reflects evidence and guidance available at the time of publication.

10. Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable UK law.
