Your questions,
answered.
Who are the scenarios for?
The collection is for all prescribers and prescribing trainees, including GPs, nurse prescribers and pharmacist prescribers. Choose scenarios relevant to your role, experience and scope of practice.
What is included in the prescribing bundle?
The £99 bundle includes 12 months’ access to the prescribing scenarios collection. Work through patient consultations, consider your decisions, review the reasoning and reflect on how the learning applies to your practice. The collection is continuously being updated by clinicians.
Is the collection included in Academy All Access?
Yes. The prescribing collection is included in Academy All Access at £199 per year, alongside your wider Academy learning. If you already have All Access, you do not need to buy this bundle separately.
Is Pharmacy First a separate course?
Yes. Pharmacy First Scenarios is a separate course with 100 interactive scenarios across 13 sections. Its complete bundle costs £99 for 12 months’ access, and the course is also included in Academy All Access. The Pharmacy First and Prescribing Scenarios bundles are separate purchases; All Access includes both.
How do the free scenarios work?
Create a free account or sign in, then enrol once to access all five scenarios. No payment is required. Open the course from your learning dashboard, choose a case and work through its decisions, patient outcomes and clinical reasoning. You can return to the collection at any time.
Can I use the learning for CPD?
The scenarios include reflection prompts to help you record what you learned and how it relates to your practice. Record the time you spend learning and follow your regulator’s requirements. A CPD reflection is not a prescribing qualification or a competency sign-off.
Does this replace clinical guidance or prescribing training?
No. These are educational scenarios. Use current guidance, local pathways and professional judgement for patient care, and practise within your own scope and competence.
